Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims keep fast from the Fajar Prayer to the Magrib Prayer. This month holds immense significance for Muslims, and consequently, they also celebrate it as “the season of righteous deeds.” There are three Ashras in this month, and every Ashra is the most precious.  Muslim enhances their acts of worship in this month. In this month, Muslims offer Tarawih and Zakat. Besides these, they enthusiastically offer sadaqah, recite the Quran, and perform other rituals. According to Hadith, “When Ramadan enters, the gates of paradise open, the gates of hell close, and the devils are chained.”

Fasting is obligatory on all the Muslims. Fasting has great impact on health. It removes all the antioxidants from the body keep the diseases away. Fasting has great importance in Islam. Allah (SWT) says,
“Fasting is for Me and I will reward it.”

Ramadan’s first Ashra is called Ashra e Rehmat. This Ashra is full of blessings. Ramadan is a month, and its beginning is mercy. This Ashra is also a blessing and mercy Ashra. The 1st Ashra of Ramzan carries their specialties and uniqueness. Reading the Holy Quran holds paramount importance in this month. Additionally, praying the dua is highly emphasized, as Allah loves those who supplicate before Him. Moreover, Ramadan brings numerous benefits that reward everything double. Above all, patience and good manners stand out as the most crucial virtues of Ramadan. Each dua for every Ashra is significant. 

“o my lord forgive me and have mercy upon me and you are the best of merciful.”


Ramadan Second Ashra is called “Ashra of Forgiveness”

Astaghfirullaha rabbi min kulli zanbiw wa atoobu ilaihi
Ramadan 2nd ashra says “I seek forgiveness for my sins from Allah, who is my Lord and turn towards Him.”
Seek steadfastness from Allah and don’t forget to be kind during siyaam. May Allah accept our fasting and forgive us all Muslim.


RAMADAN-3rd ASHRA Mubarak. In the third ten days of Ramadan, Allah saved Muslims from the fire of hell. In this ashra, almighty Allah has commanded us to do itikaf in the last ten days. Itikaf is the suunat of our holy prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). Men perform Itikaf in mosques, and women do it at home.
The duas of the last Ashra are:
oh, Allah!   Save me from hellfire!


Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever is my ummah or wishes to have my grave or enlightenment of light, then he wants to recite this month in the month of Ramadan on the occasion of lailat-ul-qadr-shab-e-qadar by praying with hard work. Talha, erase the sins from your name and purify them in good deeds. They would compare one night of Shab-e-Qadr to seventy thousand nights. Lailat-ul-qadr-shab-e-qadar is the night of acceptance or virtue.
